Miriam Sterk, LCSW, C-ASWCM, CCM, is an Arizona and New York Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Advanced Social Work Case Manager. Miriam has over four decades of professional experience in the health care field as a therapist, administrator, and educator of Behavioral Health and Counseling, including the private, public, and managed care sectors. Miriam Sterk served as a member of the Expert Panel developed by the National Association of Social Workers and sponsored by AARP and the Hartford Foundation to establish standards for social work practice with families and caregivers of older adults. Miriam has served on the Arizona Governor’s Council Military Work Group for Traumatic Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury, which assisted in the development of the Arizona Coalition of Families of the Military. Miram has served as an expert mental health witness in family, medical malpractice, and personal injury cases. Miriam Sterk serves as a Health Care Advocate for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. She is certified in Hypnotherapy, Hypno Anesthesiology, Bereavement, and Crisis Debriefing.
